No it's not a mutation , these fishes live in inland sea ( abysse ) and with the Tusnami they were released toward the surface and then to the coastline.The main characteristics of this kind of fishes are : big eyes ( because it's very dark ) , big tooth , and sometimes luminescent organ ( to attract their prays ) and according to the molluscs , they are colorless ( to be unobserved ) and sometimes they are luminescent .
