will i have a friend who just got the phone to day with out data on it and he can text me and he can call people so it dose work and my brother has tmoble and he has a black berry with out data and his phone lets him text and call but he cant check e-mail or go on line.and you no more then 5 people have told me you need no data plane for the palm im sorry who ever told you u need it is wrong u need data for e-mail and online not for calling and texting.

That might be what they say at the Verizo store, but at the VerizoN store, their policy is as follows; if you buy any of their smartphones, be it a blackberry, a palm or what have you, a Data Plan is REQUIRED in order to activate it. Apparently that rep didn't even know their own policy.

if you get this phone for verizo they told me today you need no data stuff unless u want the bed it will use texting phone cell if you got a plane but if u want e-mail and other stuff u got to get data

ya its a touchscreen and it is ausome to. i was eather getting the voyager or this and i got this. my friends have both of these phones and this can do much much more cause its a SMARTPHONE!!! and actually i find this phone very easy to txt with
