the ground of the 3:08 part in Spain it's called ''guárdame las vacas'' since the Renaissance. It's not clear if the romanesca was the same or not.''Guárdame las vacas'' it´s: IV-I-II-VI#/ IV-I-II-VI#-II.

What is that tiny giutar??I always thought when I listened to the recording that it was a lute.Savall has a great understanding of early baroque-renaissance music.Another favorite baroque performer of mine is Rinaldo Alessandrini but he is more specialized to late baroque music. Check him out too! |
