I know you posted the comment two years ago, but I have only just seen it. Beauty of the Internet!!Agreed, Richard Thompson is an amazing lead guitarist. Much as I like Cream and Led.....Zep... blah blah blah, Richard's guitar really was / is unique and truly musical. Even to this day, his Matty Groves improvisation astonishes me, especially the way he talks to Swarb and Dave Mattacks. A Sailor's Life astonishes me even more, his empathy with Ashley's bass playing and with those symbols and
