sbnewman all I found was confintial when I researched it. I think the interview was with Dick Cavett in the early 80`s if that helps. Joe had just gone bankrupt and started touring again to try to dig himself out. It was the end of the line for him drug and booze wise and thats when they found the MS. It`s a rare form so the name escapes me but I will keep looking! He always had quirks but you are right the booze and drugs tooks it`s toll because he did not know he had it.

well you would think that most people have better things to do, but I'm sure we've all seen shit on here that was hard to believe. I've heard that about Cocker in several different places, but I've never been able to find any info on it or the actual interview. my dad said that back in the day he was completely normal, but his guess was that rampant drug use caused some muscle issues... which was a struggle to believe as well. either way, you're right, he rocks.

swbnewman he kept it a secret for may years because he did not want dropped by his record label. It`s a rare form of MS not sure what it`s called I saw an interview in the early 80's when he revealed it. I have seen him 4 times as well and he kicks ass each time btw! I will see if I can find some info but I have better things to do honestly than to make shit up on the internet for peoples entertainment!

well, since you apparently are a "know it all fuck", too, can you send me some info on Cocker having a disease? the reason I ask is because my dad and uncle have seen him several times dating back to his early days. they say he was perfectly normal unless he was on a variety of drugs, and then he twitched like what you see here. so if he was normal in some shows, and is normal in shows now... and there is NOTHING online about him having a disease... where exactly are you getting your info????

so why doesn't he have "knee jerk reactions" when he performs now?

Cinerama62, the girl with long black hair (curved) is Pamela Polland. 'The Delta Lady' sings together with that black girl.

For all you knowit all fucks, he has a mild form of MS that gives him his quirks. They are called knee jerk reactions. This is also not woodstock by any means. Cineraqma62 has it right. The stage was full with talent that night. Thanks for the post !!!!! |
