You insinuated that a bite from a widow is an inevitability. And Im saying your wrong, they are solitary and shy spiders that will not just launch random attacks as you implied. So there was in fact no reasoning behind your comment making people believe that spiders are the enemy.

Funny how you tell me that my talk fuels fear of spiders, yet you were unable to refute my statements.Everything I said was perfectly valid.I know perfectly well that black widow bites are very rarely deadly. However, if you get a black widow bite, there's also a VERY low chance that you won't be in an emergency room.Pain. Extreme amounts of it. Few people wouldn't go to a doctor in that circumstance.There's absolutely no good reason to let them live in your home. It's pointless.

It's talk like that that fuels the fear of spiders. Just so you know the black widow is almost NEVER deadly, only to elderly, young and people with heart conditions. Also they are actually very shy spiders that only become agressive when guarding eggs or if provoked. I have 3 in a vivarium in my house and my sister handles them all the time.
