what peopole seem not to understand is that everything has a racial side of it , us dominicans including (myself) have a mixture of taino indians, european and black,,Haiti is mostly black skin ,creole speaking ,,Canada and U.S have similar caucasian habitants and theres a lot of differences in cultures,yet they share the same land, i bet they would never want to become 1 country..

aun no entiendo el problema. Haiti y RD empezaron en las misma siendo una sola isla, luego fueron separadas cuando los Franceses ganaron y los Espanoles cedieron su parte a Haiti. Ustedes(haiti and RD) tienen la misma sangre. No te equivoques a mi me encanta la RD, su cultura, comida , musica, todo. Solo quiero educarte. En conclusion todo los caribenos (Cuba, Haiti, RD, PR, Jamaica, ect) tienen la misma sangre y descendencia,AFRICA Saludos a todos mis amigos Dominicanos
