If there was even a hint of WMD, the Bush people would have had it in every paper and on every airwave. As for no more terrorist attacks... Al Qaeda doesn't need to attack us anymore: From the Patriot Act to the Military Commissions Act and the FISA business, we have been eating up our own democracy. That was the point of 9-11. And we have around 4700 GIs dead, god knows how many wounded, and an even more unstable world. Bush is simply the WPE, period, end of story.

I'm happy to see you stopped this debate...gschong is "apparently" a blind Republican supporter....win at all costs, even the cost of putting incapable people in the white house. You can't win with logic with these types.

I note that you have switched to using "apparently" where I am concerned. If you had not yielded on that, readers might mistakenly think you had magical mind-reading powers to know what I or others believe. You seem to be playing the psychic game with Bush, though, by writing he "went to Iraq to vindicate Daddy." What empirical evidence (e.g., Bush's own words) is there for your statement? OBTW, no U.S. president ever runs "his government." There are those two other branches, after all.

April 2004, Insight/News World Communications reported that our efforts to find Saddam's WMD material were more successful than the MSM have reported. U.S. WMD assertions were true after all, so those who continue to mouth "no WND materials" are deluded. This past July 2008, MSNBC reported the removal of some 550 tons of 'yellow cake' from Iraq, i.e., WMD material.

Somehow, the policies and strategeries of the 'worst president ever' and a 'dunderhead' (Bush) have prevented any further attacks on our homeland, while the feckless responses of Clinton (e.g., from Mogadishu, to the U.S. embassy bombings, to the 1st WTC attack, and to the attack on the USS Cole), that 'genius' and ever erudite (bloviator-in-chief) set us up for 9-11. OBL himself describes how he lost any fear of attacking the U.S. after witnessing what he preceived as Clinton's weak reactions.
