LOL you got that right. Check out the bassist first 25-40 seconds in. But the passion and guts in Joplin's voice--you can tell even then she'd already lived the pain she was singing about

ill never forget the first time i heard her voice, i have a love for janis i will carry till death this video in classic she was quoted as not being beutiful but she was to me janis got me through nay bad nights.I LOVE U JANIS R.I.P. she ids truly one in a million truly.

The session musicians were technically more correct but not nearly as exciting. James Gurley's guitar work gave BBHC their "psycedelic" sound and was very complementary to Janis in terms of power. |
