Two of the GP38-2s purchased from DEVCO were painted yellow and in addition to the NB Southern lettering were also lettered Sunbury. There were for use on a trailer on flat car (TOFC) train that operated between Canada & the US. New US border regulations made it easier for truckers to drive their trucks across the border than to put them on the train and so it was cancelled.
