SEA players can succeed at the top! Simon Tahamata (Moluccas) and Fandi Ahmad (Singapore) were both very successful in Holland, especially Tahamata at Ajax, later at Standard Liege in Belgium. Now there's of course Giovanni van Bronkhorst (Moluccas)

acecrusade, only a very few people in the philippines can speak spanish fluently. tagalog is a regional language mainly spoken in central luzon. most of us here in the philippines speak visayan dialects and would prefer to speak english or spanish if we can learn and be fluent in both. only stupid, parochial, ethnocentric, and narrowminded filipinos would make tagalog the spoken language of education and commerce in this god forsaken country. |
