Carrick is world class, He does a fantastic job in the centre, he's an ideal Holding/ Tempo controller. He sits in there, wins headers, wins tackles, cuts out play, and then his passing is fantastic. He should start for England. For the next 4,5 years him and Anderson will become the best midfield partnership in the world. He's the slickest player at Man Utd, I'd compare him to Deco, Moutinho in terms of passing, but he brings much more to games.

i think carrick and hargreaves are very different styles so its hard to compare, if u put both of them in the center of midfield together it'll work well becuz hargo wud win the ball since he works and runs and gives 110% and he'll give it to carrick who just has such composure to put it up front. ofc scholesy is the best!:P and wat sux is that hargreaves is injured but wen he gets back he'll be on for a while! i know it!

ok when hargreaves isnt injuried i think hes a better midfielder than carrick. unfortunately he's injuried quite abit... so its kind of a bad arguement

carrick's killer ball is damn nice. Hargreaves free kick is nice, but he go down injury too easy.

hey the people lets just face it carrick is one of the best centre-mids in the world. If not why do u always c carrick in the 1st team line-up for the current best club in the world.

no. carrick is no where as good as hargreaves. not even close. hargreaves has a great work ethic + a killer freekick. carrick is too cautious.
