Salsa is a Black Dance -- Wow you're P.R you should know that. The father of Salsa Arsenio Rodriguez was born in the Congo. Also Danzon y Son --Salsa comes from a Haitian Merengue. Open your eyes Jwbagz21. Even T.P -sorry Tito Puente says this music is Afro Carribean.

It shouldn't be labeled as a "Black" dance. However, please learn "Our" history. Where do you think the sounds of the Clave&timbales are coming from? Percussion was a gift from the Africans that the Portuguese shipped in for slavery.Afro-Cuban music set the stage and then Puerto Ricans developed what we now call Salsa. La Raza includes all colors. Let's not put down members of "La Familia" based on color of skin which you appear to be doing to the Dominicans.
