It is not the same Otis from the Temptations...that would be Otis Williams...and the Bar-Kays were actualy the house band at Stax records before they started recording their own tracks.

After all these years, it so wonderful that so many people remember and respect this wonderful entertainer. I saw him and met him in the fall of 1966 in Houston, Texas and he died in that awful plane crash the day after my 25th birthday. My children have given me several copulations on CD's and I thank them. But I have all of the original 33's in my collection. God Bless You Otis, I think about you every day.Jimmy |
