Listen to the others and you will come to the realization that you have just witnessed greatness. Those who have the audacity to question her voice have only her youth possibly to judge it by.

Oh, Please! She is an astute, perceptive and intelligent woman. She is quite aware her voice is not what it once was. She sings for the pleasure it gives to her, and she sings for her fans who have been her fans for decades. Everybody is fully aware she is in decline. If others find pleasure in it, why should you care? Stop being a snob. Pooh!

quite grand

one of the all time greats. As all so often it seems that it will always be as hard for a singer to know when it is time to retire as it is to learn the art of singing itself.

Gorgeous, of course -- brought tears to my eyes. A true diva, in all senses of the word.

Monserrat canta con mucho sentimiento. Es algo más que la voz. Puccini nació en uno de los pueblos más bonitos que he conocido. ¿Cómo no van a nacer genios en lugares llenos de arte?. |
