You can't compare them, they're not the same type of film. "Pirates" are Action/Adventure films. They have a story, but they're not about the acting, it's about the adventure.LOTR is an Action/Drama. The story is ABOUT the acting. It's about the writing and the epic nature of the drama. The best scenes are the dramatic acting.The best scenes in Pirates are the action. They're different genres. Both they're both still excellent.
