Pelé was elected The Athlete of the Century, Best Ever by FIFA experts, Even queens, and wars stopped to watch him play. Pelé scored 1300 goals (Maradona not even 300, despite being a dull player in most games), won 3 world cups, 2x world champion in his team Santos. Just young people who didn´t see Pelé play can make such a stupid comparison.(youtube may hel you) Pelé will continue to be the Best until another one better than him appears, but I doubt it will be possible.

@kwancoutach: Es que precisamente la palabra "crack" designa más una nostalgia por lo extraordinario que un hecho verificable empíricamente. Los que tú no viste jugar se han convertido en mitos de la cultura oral y los que vemos hoy casi las 24 horas del día (en la TV o en youtube) son los fetiches efímeros hacia donde proyectamos nuestra inconformidad con una vida opaca y carente de sentido.(Pero puestos a elegir mitos o fetiches más sólidos me quedo con Maradona y Zidane).
