WHERE are all the songs like this today???Yeah, what a wealth of musicians and writers born in the 40s. Cummings is just one of many, and if he was in his 20s now he'd stand tall over the 20 somethings of today.

You know what really blows?... WHERE are all the songs like this today???!!! Sappy ballad? I think not... GREAT VOICE, and written as to be accessible to the common man/woman. If upon listening to Burton Cummings sing this, you aren't even gently moved, you have no soul or feelings. A freaking CLASSIC! By the way, I also really liked "The Guess Who" too... natch!!

Era en invierno del año 1986, junto a una muy buena amiga nos juntamos a llorar como niños nuestras penas,ya que ambos habiamos perdido nuestras parejas de ese momento ,en ese momento yo habia puesto un cassette donde sonaba este gran tema ,casi 20 años despues me entere que esa amiga habia fallecido de cancer a los 39 años , hoy cada vez que escucho esta hermosa cancion me recuerda aquel momento y de todo corazon se lo dedico a ella ,Maria Rosa donde quieras que estes nunca te voy a olvidar

Burton Cummins is so awesome. From American Woman to Stand Tall. What a talent. He sends chills up my spine everytime I hear him sing.
