This song makes me aware of the sad things in the world. But it also makes me conscious for all the great things in life.Time plays no role in this music, i could listen this over and over again.

This video is before Cat Stevens became muslim, he was awesome then. Don't hate his music and see it as evil just because he does stupid things now.

Yusuf talks peace,,,, but his actions speak louder than words. Yusuf (cat) has performed for Al Qaida fundraisers, donated his own money to Al Qaida so-called "charities", and supported murdering Salmon Rushdie, ON FILM. Find the proof on the internet and reject evil people. DON'T SUPPORT TERRORISTS.

Cat Stevens is a really talented songwriter capable of evoking a wide array of emotions & pictureesque images to the mind/heart. "Sad Lisa" is my top favorite by him, because his vocals are so touching & the piano playing is captivating with intensity. The main character of the story (Lisa) is indeed troubled and the narrator tries desperately to reach & help her. This is on a great album, 'Tea For The Tillerman' (featuring the hit "Wild World"). Thanks for posting! Nice video; colorful images.
