I'm Portuguese: I dindn't understand the meaning of the second and third sentences, did you mean he had got technique, than it was always good? If was that what you meant, I totally agree with you, but I think his OWN best only was reached after 1985; I mean, ALL of his recordings are awesome, but even in those amazing, there were some - after 1985 - that were even better. Just one more question: search here "una furtiva lagrima Caruso tomfroekjaer" and tell me your opinion, comparing with this.
