The Conqueror did help she refrained from sinking the escorts as well so that they could render assistance.

Who considered it a war crime? The Argentines attacked and deserved what they got. I mean really, didn't they have anything better to do like torture civilians or default on some debt.

Las islas Malvinas no fueron invadidas, fueron recuperadas de la irrupción inglesa en 1833. La Argentina reclamo por años su derechos sobre el archipiélago sin que UK hiciese caso del reclamo.

I don't know. Getting sunk during war lands a ship more prestige than rotting away at a breaker's yard. I wonder how many of Phoenix's (not sure about the plural of that word :/ ) sister ships will go down in the history books? |
