Americans aren't any better than the British really in that respect. We have the most potential to harness a common union with North and South America and the paranoids in my country think the one world government will usher in the anti-christ if we try. We've really screwed up depending on China for imported wall mart products instead of using and developing the industry potential from a shared union with our neighbors to the south. We could unleash an economy that would be un-rivaled.

Was soll denn noch immer dieses DDR-Gelaber? Die DDR ist weg und das ist gut so. Und was soll "großer Bruder" bitte heißen? Westdeutschland ist nicht der Bruder sondern genauso wie Ostdeutschland Teil Deutschland. Der "Bruder" Deutschlands wäre wohl eher Österreich und die Schweiz :/...Man wie ich hasse das Leute Deutschland gedanklich immer teilen müssen. WIR SIND EINE NATION!!!

*shrug* and the EU doesn't need you. Glad to have you tramps(well-fare nation ;/) sure. Don't like everything the EU has to offer, how it revitalises your neighbourhoods and industrial areas, increased profit from trade and tourism, then by all means leave. You british still live in an 1800's mentality of 'we're better than you because we're different". Drown on your island for all I care. The British don't know how good they have it really.

our shared European identity takes precedence over petty national ideals. 1 nation alone won't last very long in the future. You just want to be different. Like all you British.

That's pretty much the same everywhere. You guys aren't special. The EU has spent an equal amount of money in the UK.Brussels wont dictate the size of the bananas in British shops, don't worry.

apart from pissing away billions of pounds a year into the EUand them making up stupid laws and our land being ruled by foreignersand immigration spiralling out of control etc etcnot a lot is wrong really :)
