Argubly one of my fav songs, vocals lyrics are on point....so slept on. does anyone have a live performance of "beautiful"?

the reason he didn't blow up was not only problems w/ the music industry...his music was geared towards african american females but in the video, he didnt have one sister...better yet he didn't have 1 woman who was unmistakable or blatantly african american...women of color support musicians who support them...sorry but it's the truth

He is so underrated. Agreed with most of you when you said true talent is being overshadowed by the glitz and glamour. We should have heard way more from him on mainstream radio.

I love Javier but I've always thought I could har a little Eric Bennet' in his voice..

I agree with you about javiers talent but dont diss mh and o. dem my niggas. anyway he's older and has a different crowd. he also has to compete with Joe who is one of the greats, donell jones, usher, and frankie j so hes good but maybe image played a part

Its a shame that a man of his talent fell victim to the useless music we have today...He actually has a great voice and people would prefer to hear some other artist that is more mainstream or marketable...This man had arguably the best R&B album of 2003, hands down. If you get the chance, check out his debut album and then judge his raw talent versus T-Pain, Marques Houston, Omarion, and any other R&B artist. |
