The beat might be similar to "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode. You could also say it's similar to every country song ever made because there is a cowboy in it. Investigation revealed the video was antinomiously shot in reference to the title. The opposite of a sea would be a desert. Right? The only issue, I see, is that there were no "Nuclear Dudes" dressed in white suites in the Personal Jesus song. I might find Nuclear Dudes in Devo songs. Does this mean this song was ripped off from Devo?

I agree with TheWesternAngel I can't see any similarity between the two songs. But then again it could be my old fart hearing, can't see the point in the argument they are both very good bands.
