Some are but many are sound asleep & I've been fought tooth & nail by people defending Bush after he's screwed the American people without Vaseline (pardon the metaphor) And I see a lot of empty rhetoric not backed by real tangible action. For ex. the "bailout" bill we're now calling a "rescue plan" WAS PASSED! Now what? I'm calling it as I see it & I see status quo all over the place. Life as usual after the ripoff. As in Braveheart, the movie, "I hope we didn't get all dressed up for nothing!"

Ron Paul - thank you for speaking on behalf of those of us who don't abuse our credit. I am sick and tired of paying for people who don't take responsibility for their own actions. Too bad he isn't the presidential candidate. I like McCain, but he lost points with me on voting for the bill. I know Palin wouldn't vote for it, so she's the one who has kept my vote going to the McCain/Palin ticket.
